Do I need a referral?
No, you can book directly, no GP referral needed.
What is physiotherapy?
Hands-on, evidence-based care for pain, injury, and movement problems. It's about helping your body move and function the way it's meant to, whether that's recovering from an injury or surgery, or working through pain that's built up over time.
What can I expect at my first appointment?
We start by taking the time to properly understand what the problem is, not just where it hurts. From there, a thorough assessment to work out what's actually going on and why, followed by hands-on treatment, and a progressive rehabilitation program built around your real life.
How long are appointments, and what do they cost?
Initial consults run 40 minutes and cost $135. Subsequent appointments are 30 minutes and cost $110. Extended initial consults (2 or more issues) run 1 hour and cost $215.
Can I claim through my health fund?
Yes, we accept all private health insurance providers and are generally able to offer on the spot claiming for your consultation. If for any reason we're not able to provide on the spot claiming, we can print or email a copy of your invoice for you to claim through your provider yourself after the consultation.
What should I wear?
Whatever lets you move comfortably, activewear or loose clothing is ideal, especially if we're assessing a joint or muscle group that's easier to look at uncovered.
Why do regular treatments matter?
Physiotherapy isn't just for when something's already gone wrong. Regular treatment helps catch small issues, like a tight hip or an overloaded shoulder, before they turn into the kind of pain that sidelines you. Staying ahead of problems is almost always easier than fixing them once they've taken hold.
