Services

At Reset Physiotherapy Brunswick, we offer a range of services built around getting you moving well again. Whether it's a new injury, a recovery after surgery, or a body that simply isn't doing what you need it to, we'll assess what's driving the problem and treat it with a plan made for you.

How we treat
01

Hands-on massage & mobilisations

Soft tissue work eases tension and increases blood flow to tight, overworked muscle, helping it relax and recover faster. Joint mobilisations move a stiff or restricted joint through its normal range, calming down the nerves around it that have gone into overprotective mode.

Together they take pressure off irritated structures quickly, and what we find while doing it tells us a lot about what your body needs next.

02

Personalised rehab plans & exercise

Exercise works by gradually reloading tissue that's become weak, deconditioned, or protective after pain or injury, giving your body a reason to rebuild strength instead of staying guarded. It also retrains how you move, since altered movement patterns can stick around long after an injury's healed.

Consistent, well-dosed exercise unwinds that, rebuilding capacity and confidence together. Your plan is built around what you can realistically keep up, not a generic sheet.

03

Dry needling & cupping

Fine needles inserted into tight, overactive muscle, into what's called a trigger point, to release tension and reduce pain. It works by triggering a small twitch response that resets the tightness and increases blood flow to the area.

Cupping works on a similar principle through suction instead of needles. Both are a targeted addition to hands-on treatment, not a replacement for it. We only use them when clinically indicated, and they aren't suitable for everyone.

04

Education

Understanding why something hurts and what's actually going on is often the missing piece, so you know what's happening, why the plan makes sense, and how to keep managing it yourself.

Why it matters

Little and often, not just when it hurts

Regular physiotherapy isn't just for when something's gone wrong. It's how small issues, like a tight hip or an overloaded shoulder, get caught before they turn into the kind of pain that sidelines you. Think of it like servicing your body: staying ahead of problems is almost always easier than fixing them once they've taken hold.

Patients who keep up regular check-ins tend to move better day to day, recover faster when something does flare up, and spend less time out of action overall.
